Writer and broadcaster Heo Ji-woong poured out unrestrained anger over the so-called 'Director Kim Chang-min incident,' in which a father was killed in front of his young son.
On the 11th, Heo Ji-woong posted a long message on his social media regarding the recent death of director Kim Chang-min, which has provoked public outrage. He said, "He was beaten to death in front of his young son, and the whole process was captured on CCTV. The perpetrators did not apologize and released an album," opening his remarks by pointing out the brutality of the incident and the perpetrators' brazen behavior.
Heo Ji-woong went on to vent his boiling anger with the extreme and intense expression, "I don't see why any investigation or trial is needed here. They should be killed." He particularly called for the dismissal and exclusion from the community of those responsible for the initially botched investigation, and strongly criticized so-called "wrecka YouTubers" who profit from the case, saying, "They should undergo a tax investigation and be whipped in front of their own children,"
Heo Ji-woong also revealed the anguish of his past and present emotions clashing. Meanwhile, in the late director Kim Chang-min case, A, who is known as one of the perpetrators, recently apologized through the media and YouTube, but the bereaved families reportedly did not receive a proper apology directly.
