On the 11th (Sat) at 10:30 p.m., the 9th episode of TV CHOSUN's weekend miniseries "닥터신" (writer Phoebe (Im Seong-han)/director Lee Seung-hoon/produced by TM E Group, Scene & Studio) revealed that Shin Ju-shin (played by Jung I-chan) decided to break off the engagement when Momo (played by Baek Seora), who possessed Kim Jin-ju's brain, acted recklessly after having a miscarriage, and that after the broken engagement Momo, burning with revenge toward Geum Ba-ra (played by Joo Se bin), seduced Ha Yong-jung (played by An Woo Yeon).
First, it was revealed that Ha Yong-jung's confession on the beach was Geum Ba-ra's imagination. After Geum Ba-ra imagined the rest of Ha Yong-jung's words following her "To me..." she was disappointed when Ha Yong-jung said, "You're really my first choice." Lying down to get a sand pack while holding Ha Yong-jung's hand, Geum Ba-ra inwardly ached, thinking, 'If only oppa became mine and stayed by my side, maybe I could live even if I never see mom and dad again,' and 'I'm so jealous of Momo.'
Later, Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) asked Geum Ba-ra to arrange a meeting with Ha Yong-jung, and to Ha Yong-jung she revealed, "Please be my adoptive oppa. I was hit," accusing Shin Ju-shin of hitting her and causing the miscarriage. When Geum Ba-ra sided with Shin Ju-shin, Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) poured out her resentment toward Geum Ba-ra, saying, "Feel it. You'll know that humiliation," and begged Ha Yong-jung to help, making Geum Ba-ra anxious. In particular, Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) provoked Geum Ba-ra, saying, "Anxious? Worried I'll take better care of him?" and inwardly repeated, 'She must be very anxious, what if I cling to him? Endorphin~' as she shouted in delight at her revenge.
At the same time, Shin Ju-shin drank alone, recalling the conversations and pleasant moments he had shared with Geum Ba-ra at the omakase. Shin Ju-shin, who had subtly asked Geum Ba-ra about Momo's recent condition and Kim Jin-ju's true character, remembered when he explained a prenatal dream suggesting a son—a big yellow snake biting Momo's shoulder—and received Geum Ba-ra's congratulations. Back in reality, he hurled his glass, shattering it, and exploded in anger toward Kim Jin-ju, saying, "I made you into a Cinderella less than a vermin. You can't even carry one baby properly!"
Later, when Shin Ju-shin scolded Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain), accusing her of carelessly swimming and causing the miscarriage, Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) responded with a prickly attitude, "You don't like me, do you? You regret the surgery, don't you?" Ultimately, even when Shin Ju-shin said, "Then let's have another baby," Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) insisted on breaking off the engagement, saying, "Just break the engagement and end it. I won't live while getting beaten." With a cold gaze, Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) loudly declared to the stunned Shin Ju-shin, "I'll keep the secret. To the grave," and Shin Ju-shin retorted as if he had fully grasped Momo's intention to release the broken-engagement news through Geum Ba-ra, "Excited to embrace the world?"
Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) cheered over the glamorous life she would enjoy living as Momo, saying, "To Kim Jin-ju, Shin Ju-shin is a god and a prince on a horse," and then expressed interest in Ha Yong-jung rather than Shin Ju-shin. After the broken-engagement article, Geum Ba-ra, drunk, went to see Ha Yong-jung, worrying about the future of Momo and Ha Yong-jung, asking, "What if Momo also comes to like oppa?" She then went alone into the bathroom and cried over Ha Yong-jung's failure to understand her feelings. Meanwhile, Shin Ju-shin, remembering Geum Ba-ra chattering at a previous meal, had a momentary illusion in which Geum Ba-ra and Momo's appearances overlapped, imagining Geum Ba-ra placing side dishes on his spoon instead of a nurse. Afterward, Shin Ju-shin called Geum Ba-ra and asked to meet.
At the same time, Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) confidently said, "To get rid of me you'd have to kill Momo, but can you kill me as a perfect crime?" and excitedly thought about revenge, saying, "If she realizes I'm not Momo, how wide-eyed Geum Ba-ra will be." But at that moment, Kim Kwang-chul (played by Cha Kwang-soo) suddenly appeared and blocked the car, throwing Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) into shock. Believing that Momo was hiding Kim Jin-ju, Kim Kwang-chul requested a photo of Kim Jin-ju, and Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) tried to hide her trembling body as she feared Kim Kwang-chul, heightening the ominous mood.
Meanwhile, at the end of episode 9, scenes showed Shin Ju-shin and Geum Ba-ra, and Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) and Ha Yong-jung arriving at different meetings. Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) schemed and finally created a private moment with Ha Yong-jung, giving him a triumphant smile as he waited in front of her house. Meanwhile, Shin Ju-shin picked up the suffering-looking Geum Ba-ra in a princess carry and laid her on Geum Ba-ra's bed. As Shin Ju-shin–Geum Ba-ra and Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain)–Ha Yong-jung became entangled in a "turning point of fate" ending, curiosity grew about how the relationships among the four would develop.
