'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' featured On Juwan sharing that he has remained strict about self-care even when his acting work was sparse. He especially drew attention by revealing his real name.
On the 10th on MBN variety show 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3,' episode 26, Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) were joined by On Juwan, the "son of Daejeon" and husband of Girls' Day's Mina.
That day, actor On Juwan spent a day sampling "Daejeon MZ" pick eateries. Jun Hyun-moo introduced them as "a newlywed couple who recently married." In fact, On Juwan married Girls' Day's Mina last November after five years of dating after meeting through acting projects. The new groom, who has secured both acting and love, took the lead.
In the car Jun Hyun-moo asked, "I heard you were famous as the 'Daejeon tsunami'—did you sweep all the popularity away?" When asked if he meant he swept it all with popularity, On Juwan laughed and said, "I did b-boying during school. I received quite a few notes and gifts," adding, "I received them through friends or they came to the school," and "I received many heartfelt letters."
Kwak Jun-bin said, "At my exam academy a girl left me a note," adding, "She asked me to lower my coughing, saying that even when I held back a cough it still came through; it was the only (complaint) note I've ever received in my life," which made everyone laugh. Jun Hyun-moo burst out laughing, saying, "If On Juwan hears that, he might think there are lives like that too; the two lived different lives."
On Juwan said he works out five times a week. When Jun Hyun-moo was surprised and said, "That's what we aspire to," On Juwan said, "The method is to have no work; I worked out when I had no work," and "I thought the next project would come, and waiting made me miserable and depressed; I wondered what I could do by my own will, and the easiest thing was to start with building the body." He said it became the trigger for building even the muscles of his mind. On Juwan said, "Now it has reached a level where it's uncomfortable not to exercise. If I wake up in the morning with a sore back, it's not 'Should I rest?'—I work it out at the gym."
When On Juwan said he doesn't even go for massages, Jun Hyun-moo sent a sympathetic look but offered a realistic reaction, "I wish someone would rub my feet now," which sent the set into chaos. On Juwan laughed and said, "Everyone has their own way of relieving stress."
When asked what genres or roles he most wanted to challenge as an actor, On Juwan promoted, "I'm currently doing a musical, a musical inspired by 'Beastie Boys.'"
