The group RIIZE (SM Entertainment) received the spotlight from a global guitar-specialized magazine.
The U.K. guitar magazine Guitar.com, which has worldwide influence, published an article on its official website on the 9th (local time) about "rising guitar artists" in Asian music to watch in 2026, and RIIZE was the only K-pop artist included, drawing attention.
Guitar.com noted, "Interesting Asia-Pacific bands are showcasing guitar across a wide musical spectrum from K-pop to pop punk," and analyzed, "guitar music is gaining more audiences across new generations and creating new fusion stages in multiple regions."
In particular, about RIIZE, it introduced major achievements while saying, "since debuting in 2023 they have been one of the fastest-rising teams in K-pop, presenting various music such as pop, R&B and dance, but RIIZE's debut song was 'Get A Guitar,'" and it focused on members Wonbin and Anton, who have deep ties to the guitar, saying, "they are weaving their love of guitar music into the team's activities."
In the interview with the magazine, Wonbin and Anton emphasized that the instrument guitar has a communicative power that transcends language and genre, explained why they started learning guitar, and shared candid stories related to the guitar, saying, "It is meaningful that our debut song is 'Get A Guitar.' Playing guitar helped broaden my musical perspective, and the thrill I felt playing guitar on stage is something I will never forget."
Earlier, during RIIZE's first world tour RIIZING LOUD, which drew 420,000 fans across 21 regions worldwide, Wonbin and Anton showcased a joint performance of electric guitar and bass guitar through an intro performance leading into 'Get A Guitar,' receiving enthusiastic responses with fantastic chemistry.
