The group BTS dominated Spotify charts for a third consecutive week with their full-group comeback, the fifth studio album 'Arirang' (ARIRANG).
On the 11th, according to Spotify's latest weekly charts (reporting period: April 3–April 9), BTS topped the weekly top albums and weekly top songs global charts. Both charts have held the No. 1 position for three weeks. All 14 tracks on the album charted on the weekly top songs global chart for three consecutive weeks, and in particular, 13 vocal tracks excluding the interlude track 'No. 29' placed within the top 50. On the daily chart, daily top songs global, they have maintained the No. 1 spot for 21 consecutive days (March 20–April 9), continuing a long-running popularity. With this, BTS became the artist with the most songs on the daily and weekly top songs global charts as of April 9.
On the Official Charts in the U.K. released on the 11th, 'Arirang' rose to No. 5 on the Official Albums Top 100 (April 10–April 16), marking a third week in the upper ranks. The title track 'SWIM' landed at No. 18 on the Official Singles Top 100, and album tracks 'Body to Body' (No. 72) and '2.0' (No. 94) also ranked. 'SWIM' held the No. 1 spot for three consecutive weeks on the detailed charts Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads.
'SWIM' topped the latest Oricon weekly streaming ranking in Japan (April 13 / reporting period: March 30–April 5) for two consecutive weeks. This year, BTS is the only foreign artist to remain at No. 1 on that chart for two consecutive weeks. They also held strong positions on the weekly combined album ranking (No. 2), weekly digital album (No. 2), and weekly album (No. 3).
They are enjoying steady popularity in Europe and Australia as well. The new release rose two spots from the previous week to No. 1 on Germany's official music charts (Offizielle Deutsche Charts) top 100 albums (April 10). It ranked No. 2 on the top 20 vinyl chart. On the French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) top albums (reporting period: April 3–April 9), it remained at No. 2 following last week. According to the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), the new release ranked No. 2 on the top 50 albums and top 10 vinyl albums charts dated April 13, staying in the top ranks for three consecutive weeks.
According to Hanteo Chart's world chart for the first week of April (reporting period: March 30–April 5) released, BTS swept No. 1 in the United States, Japan and China for three consecutive weeks. This is a comprehensive chart compiled based on global data such as albums, songs and social portal figures by country/region.
BTS simultaneously topped the U.S. Billboard main album chart Billboard 200 and the main song chart Hot 100 with Arirang on the April 4 chart. On the Billboard 200, they became the first Korean artist to record two consecutive weeks at No. 1.
