Kim Jaejoong said he would prefer his future wife not become close with eight older sisters.
On the 10th episode of KBS 2TV's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, Kim Jaejoong was shown inviting female friend Hee-Bab to his home.
At Hee-Bab's appearance that day, Kim Jaejoong's mother welcomed her warmly, and when told she was 10 years younger than Kim Jaejoong, she replied, "Then the woman would be at a disadvantage," drawing laughter. Kim Jaejoong also looked nervous, and instead Hee-Bab said, "Rather, I seem like a member of this household."
As the meal got underway, the father moved closer to Hee-Bab and said, "Someone this pretty and popular. Our son is popular too. But you said you are 10 years younger," and proceeded to inquire about Hee-Bab's family background.
The father then worriedly told Hee-Bab, "Jaejoong has eight older sisters," and Hee-Bab honestly replied, "But I think I can get along well with all of them. It's not something I'm worried about."
Kim Jaejoong actually said, "Getting along with the sisters? No. I don't want that. I hope they aren't close," and worried, "They will surely talk about it behind my back. They'll even talk about my bank account balance."
