Former national team soccer player and broadcaster Ahn Jung-hwan revealed details about a donation in the 400 million won range.
On the 11th, tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" official SNS posted a video saying, "Ahn Jung-hwan donated all YouTube revenue totaling 436 million won! His sincere wish to help youths in difficult circumstances."
In the video, Yu Jae-seok applauded, saying, "He donated 436 million won in YouTube revenue. Amazing. Generous." He added, "Donating all YouTube revenue isn't an easy thing to do, is it?"
Ahn Jung-hwan explained, "When I did YouTube, the purpose was to quietly offer talent donations to children as long as my body allowed. As I did it, I thought maybe I could help friends in more difficult circumstances, and that's how it came to this point."
Yu Jae-seok asked, "I heard the donations went to disadvantaged grandparent-led households, aspiring youth programs, and mainly youth-related causes?"
Ahn Jung-hwan said, "Friends, juniors, and seniors alike often become coaches. But there are many youths in those environments who are struggling. Playing soccer costs a lot of money. I wasn't well off when I was young either, and I thought it would be good to help. Doing small acts like that has led to this point."
