Medical reporter and broadcaster Hong Hye-geol was embarrassed by the attention from a former announcer that even bothered his wife, Yeon Esther.
On the 10th, Yeon Esther's personal YouTube channel, "Esther TV," posted a video titled "Hong Hye-geol's Jeju vlog, enjoying himself alone (feat. the two faces of Yeon Esther we didn't know?!)." The released video captured the daily life of Yeon Esther's husband, Hong Hye-geol, spending time in Jeju.
In the video, Hong Hye-geol spent pleasant time meeting his close friend, doctor Ham Ik-byung, and their respective younger cousins, playing golf and having meals. Hong Hye-geol said that as a result of a golf match in which Yeon Esther's cousin and Ham Ik-byung teamed up against his cousin, Hong Hye-geol's team won.
Meanwhile, jealousy from Yeon Esther was revealed through the cousin's remarks. When Hong Hye-geol was gaining attention as a medical reporter in the past, an announcer showed interest, and Yeon Esther was subtly bothered by it. The cousin revealed, "I told her she could just take a taxi, but she was bothered, asking why he should give her a ride."
Hong Hye-geol was startled. He said, "This is the first time I'm hearing this. I'm not involved with that friend (the announcer) at all, but I'm surprised that someone would have that kind of awareness." Ham Ik-byung defended Yeon Esther, saying, "If it's your wife, you could be concerned." Hong Hye-geol added with admiration and laughter, "Esther is amazing."
