Comedian Kim Shin-young confessed that her life changed because of the late Jeon Yu-seong's last words.
On the 10th, MBC variety program I Live Alone (abbreviated as "I Live Alone") featured the life of all-rounder comedian Kim Shin-young in her 14th year of living alone.
That day, Kim Shin-young prepared and ate rice topped with bulgogi mixed with glass noodles from the morning. Seeing this, Jun Hyun-moo said, "I've never seen anyone who lives alone marinate bulgogi to eat," praising Kim Shin-young's diligence.
Kim Shin-young said, "I prepare breakfast the night before" and added, "I have an appetite in the morning. I always eat it. If I have a schedule that leaves at 4 a.m., I get up at 3 a.m. to prepare and eat," which surprised viewers.
Afterwards, Kim Shin-young said, "People don't change. They say constitution changes. It's nonsense philosophy. What's the use of enduring 13 years? I came back in three months," and told viewers not to diet, drawing laughter.
The sight of her eating alone amazed all the cast members watching. Red Velvet's Joy was moved, saying, "She eats heartily," and Jun Hyun-moo praised Kim Shin-young, who, like him, puts a lot of pepper on her food, saying she knows how to eat.
In response, Code Kunst said, "I respect that. In an era when others find it hard to lose weight and in an era when it's easy to lose weight they don't do it," and asked whether she used the many diet supplements now available.
Kim Shin-young said, "There are ups and downs and plateaus. I'm not into that" and added, "I watched Professor Jeon Yu-seong's final moments. The professor said, 'Shin-young, I really want to eat jjambbong but I can't. Don't hold back either and live eating what you want to eat,'" she revealed.
She said, "(Professor Jeon Yu-seong's last words) became a reason. He saw me for 13 years trying to lose weight, saying, 'I can't do it now,' 'I can't eat bread.' So he said that as a final remark: eat comfortably and live. I thought that gaining weight is part of me, so I should love it, and I ate my fill," adding, "There's always a backstory to where yo-yo dieting happens," which drew laughter.
