Actor Byeon Woo-seok appears on Hangout With Yoo.
Today (11th) the MBC variety show Hangout With Yoo (abbreviated Hangout) features Byeon Woo-seok as a guest.
That episode of Hangout is arranged as a "comma, club" special. Led by " 폐오르간" chief Yu Jae-seok, "늙은 석박지" Haha and "잔땀" Heo Kyunghwan, "이윤석" Joo Woo-jae, and "강변" Jung jun-ha reunite.
Among them, Jung jun-ha's "강변" was shorthand for the so-called "Gangnam Station Byeon Woo-seok." The confrontation between the real Byeon Woo-seok and Jung jun-ha's "Gangnam Station Byeon Woo-seok" is expected to produce laughs already.
Byeon Woo-seok's appearance on Hangout was arranged to commemorate promotion for the MBC new Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown in which he appears. Perfect Crown recorded a nationwide household rating of 7.8% from Nielsen Korea from its first broadcast on the 10th, showing signs of a hit. Attention is on whether Byeon Woo-seok will also lead a ratings boom on Hangout.
In the still cuts released by the production team ahead of the broadcast, Byeon Woo-seok appears wearing exactly the same costume as Jung jun-ha's "강변," drawing attention as if to predict this. Showing an example of "same clothes, different visuals," Byeon Woo-seok's look, completely different from Jung jun-ha despite identical outfits and props, is expected to surprise not only Hangout members but also viewers.
Meanwhile, the squabbling atmosphere among Hangout participants also piques curiosity. In the earlier "comma, club" special, chief Yu Jae-seok and former treasurer Jung jun-ha left a flashy record of embezzlement that sparked members' backlash. According to the production team, the new treasurer was Joo Woo-jae. Joo Woo-jae has been close friends with Byeon Woo-seok since his modeling days. When the person who manipulated barcodes to falsify prices was caught under Joo Woo-jae's thorough management of public funds, Byeon Woo-seok reportedly blasted, "This person has a record," which is expected to draw laughs.
Even so, Byeon Woo-seok is said to be emerging as a candidate for treasurer despite being new. Even Joo Woo-jae said, "I trust Wooseok," handing over the treasurer's duties, and Haha called him "the last hope," raising expectations.
