The group TWS (TWS) made warm springday memories with about 30,000 fans in Japan as they prepare for a comeback.
TWS (Shin Yu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) held "2026 TWS 2ND FANMEETING '42:CLUB' IN JAPAN" over two days on the 8th and 9th at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
TWS energetically opened the performance with "HOT BLUE SHOES" and "Freestyle." They poured out a variety of stages including the unreleased new song "I will become all of your possibilities," the local debut song that stamped TWS's brand of refreshment on Japan with fresh energy "Nice to see you again (original title はじめまして/はじめまして)," and the fan song "I will be your tomorrow."
A special cover stage in particular heated up the venue. The members passionately sang the representative song "明日も (also tomorrow)" by the rock band SHISHAMO, well known for a commercial song for a major Japanese telecommunications company. As TWS's distinctive freshness blended with lyrics that comfort weary daily life, loud cheers erupted from the audience.
TWS said they would work harder until the day when everyone they meet on the streets of Tokyo recognizes them. They added that they would be happier than anything if the world of 42 (fan club name) felt even a little warmer through this event, expressing a deeper rapport with local fans.
The excitement outside the venue was also intense. At a pop-up store set up in Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo, fans lined up to buy photo cards, image pickets and keyrings featuring the members transformed into sports captains.
TWS will release their fifth EP NO TRAGEDY on the 27th. The album contains TWS's determination to rush toward love rather than follow fate. The group's refreshing romance, clumsy but assertively approaching love, is previewed and global fans' expectations are growing.
Prior to that, TWS will release today (the 10th) an unknown piece of content, OPENING SONNET : star-cross'd lovers (the ill-fated lovers separated by the stars). The phrase star-cross'd lovers, which appears in the prologue of Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, piques curiosity about the new album. Then, from the 13th to the 19th, content called "today's fortune" will be unveiled one after another over the course of a week.
Their busy schedule in Japan continues. TWS will appear on Japan's representative music program TBS CDTV Live! Live! on the 20th. They are also listed on the lineup for KCON JAPAN 2026, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from June 8 to 10, and for Kstyle Party 2026, taking place on the 9th at K-Arena Yokohama.
