Singer Isaac Hong revealed the story of having to suspend his studies because of tuition issues while attending the Berklee College of Music.
On the 9th, a video featuring Jo Kwon and Isaac Hong as guests was posted on the YouTube channel Cho Hyun-a's ordinary Thursday night.
Making his first appearance on the show, Isaac Hong cautiously greeted viewers, saying, "I was nervous because I'm introverted." Appearing alongside labelmate Jo Kwon, he drew attention with his understated charm.
He mentioned his time at the Berklee College of Music, honestly saying, "I had no tuition, so I attended for about a year and then returned to Korea."
He went on to describe his musical foundation, recounting experiences of spending his elementary school years in Papua New Guinea and how he naturally learned English.
In particular, Isaac Hong's standard for "deviation" was revealed, provoking laughter. Isaac Hong opened by saying, "You have to tell me the standard for deviation," then surprised listeners by revealing that his biggest deviation is "watching late-night movies." He added that he has never been to a club, which drew even more attention.
In response, Cho Hyun-a fired back, "You haven't even been to a tonkatsu club?" making the place erupt in laughter.
Meanwhile, Isaac Hong, the winner of Sing Again 3, is set to release his new album Castle In The Air on the 23rd.
