Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant national brother-in-law Kim Kangwoo's daily life making side dishes for his in-laws is revealed.
On Apr. 10 at 9:40 p.m., KBS 2TV's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereinafter "Fun-Staurant") will feature pure-hearted chef Kim Kangwoo unveiling top-tier side dish recipes. In particular, Kim Kangwoo revealed that he makes these side dishes for his wife and two sons as well as for his in-laws, suggesting he is set to once again be crowned the romantic "national brother-in-law."
In the VCR released that day, Kim Kangwoo was busy making side dishes. Kim Kangwoo said, "Many family members live nearby," explaining that he makes generous portions to share not only with his mother-in-law who lives nearby but also with his sister-in-law's household, including actress Han Hye-jin.
Kim Kangwoo's youngest sister-in-law, Han Hye-jin, in an interview said, "My brother-in-law often cooks for us," and revealed Kim Kangwoo's killer side dish menu. She added, "He makes a lot and gives some to us, gives some to mom and gives some to our second sister's household; everyone shares it," the Fun-Staurant cast reportedly said, "It's the first time we've seen a brother-in-law make side dishes," and "At this level he's not just the national brother-in-law but the brother-in-law of Asia," expressing astonishment.
Above all, attention is drawn to the fact that Kim Kangwoo released easy-to-follow yet not run-of-the-mill Kim Kangwoo-style side dish recipes. A new soybean jang made using "Uri Kong," a special-tasting soya (sausage and vegetable stir-fry) created under the motto "ordinary is boring," a special braised tofu transformed with the flamboyant flavors of Chinese cuisine, and a surprising tofu dessert. Meanwhile, that day Kim Kangwoo's wife surprised everyone by revealing, "(My husband) is really this good, but my in-laws are intimidated by him." Even Kim Kangwoo laughed at the mystery, saying, "That's right. When I come home from work they sometimes gather but then scatter quickly."
