Choo Sung Hoon was completely captivated by the charm of Koenji, a neighborhood overflowing with Euljiro vibes.
On the 9th, a video titled 'Found a life-changing izakaya after going to Tokyo's vintage mecca (ft. Chube-Log, Koenji)' was posted on Choo Sung Hoon's YouTube channel.
That day Choo Sung Hoon said, "When I was young I really liked vintage," and "This is the Koenji area. It's a bit farther from central Tokyo," and "Pubs under the train. Vintage shops. There are many restaurants. I used to go to vintage shops a lot; compared to Korea it's like Euljiro. It's a fun place for local travel," he introduced.
Arriving immediately at a vintage shop, Choo Sung Hoon found an H-brand luxury item priced at 1,700,000 won. It was a vintage shop that recycles high-end luxury goods. Then, seeing jeans priced between 880,000 won and 5,000,000 won at a jeans shop, Choo Sung Hoon said, "This is ridiculous, it's too expensive," and quickly left the shop smiling.
Arriving at a bar, Choo Sung Hoon admired the old-fashioned bar atmosphere and said, "It's not far from central Tokyo; you can get here quickly," and "From now on I'll come to places like this often. The 70s–80s vibe is nice."
He added, "I think I'll come over here often (from Tokyo); I should look into real estate here," and smiled about falling in love with Koenji.
