Group EXO-CBX members Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin sent a certified letter to the agency notifying them of contract termination.
On the 10th, a representative for Cha Ga-won told OSEN regarding EXO-CBX's contract termination notice, "We are working to normalize the company. We will try to resolve this even by receiving additional investment or selling our personal assets."
Earlier, one media outlet reported that EXO-CBX sent a certified letter at the end of March notifying Cha Ga-won, CEO of INB100, of exclusive contract termination.
According to the report, EXO-CBX demanded answers regarding unpaid settlements and contract violations, but after two weeks without receiving a satisfactory response, they decided to terminate the exclusive contract.
INB100 is the company Baekhyun founded after leaving SM Entertainment. It was later absorbed as a subsidiary of OneHundred, which Cha Ga-won, CEO, established in 2024 together with MC MONG.
Recently, OneHundred has been experiencing a string of artist departures from its affiliated labels. Starting with Taemin, The Boyz, B.O., Lee Mu-jin, VV, and Lee Seung Gi have notified their agencies of exclusive contract terminations.
Meanwhile, Cha Ga-won recently announced legal action. Hyun Dong-yeop, the attorney representing Cha Ga-won, expressed a strong intention to pursue legal action, saying, "The essence of this case is an illegal plot carried out by Knowmerce, Cha Jun-young and The Fact Co. colluding to hostilely acquire BPM."
