Actor On Juwan, who appears as a "meokchingu" on Jun Hyun-moo plan 3, brings laughs by recalling not only his frank, easygoing talk but also his dazzling, unexpected past.
On the Oct. 10 broadcast of the full-fledged real street food documentary Jun Hyun-moo plan 3, episode 26, Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) spend a day covering Daejeon MZ–picked eateries with On Juwan, the "son of Daejeon" and husband of Girls' Day's Minah.
While heading to a restaurant famous for chilled pork belly and spicy squid stew, the three talk about the past. In the car, Jun Hyun-moo asks, "I heard he was famous as the 'Daejeon tsunami'—did he sweep all the popularity?" and On Juwan laughs, "I did b-boying in school. I received quite a few notes and gifts." KwakTube says, "He must have been a high-teen star. His name is On Juwan, too~" mentioning a "manhwa-cut" level name, but On Juwan corrects him, "My real name is Song Jeong-sik?" A flustered KwakTube replies, "(The real name) is cooler," creating chaotic chemistry.
Shortly after, the three arrive at a chilled pork belly spot loved by Daejeon MZs and are presented with samgyeop roast. When On Juwan grabs the tongs, KwakTube says, "I trust the muscle man," expressing expectations for his meat-grilling skills. Indeed, On Juwan proudly shows off his impressive forearms and skillfully grills the meat. Seeing this, Jun Hyun-moo asks unexpectedly, "(Do you) cook well at home?" and On Juwan gives an answer that evokes his newlywed life with Minah, prompting envy.
Afterward, On Juwan neatly "all-kills" the spicy squid stew and fried rice, and Jun Hyun-moo exclaims, "He eats well." On Juwan then reveals the secret to his extraordinary "eating power," saying, "I go to the gym five times a week." He candidly confesses, "The reason I started exercising was 'because there was no work.' I started working out because waiting for projects was so miserable that I looked for something I could do on my own." While Jun Hyun-moo shows a sympathetic look, he offers a realistic reaction, "I wish someone would massage my feet now," which devastates the scene.
