Singer Cho Hyun-a recently confessed that she hasn't been able to write songs lately.
On the 9th, the YouTube channel 'Cho Hyun-a's ordinary Thursday night' uploaded a video titled "Speaking of which, even extreme introverts chatter in front of Jo Kwon."
That day, the guests who visited Cho Hyun-a were Jo Kwon and Isaac Hong. Isaac Hong introduced that a mini album will be released in April and said, "I was sitting down to film the broadcast when I felt something like shortness of breath. It was a stifling feeling as if facing a wall," opening up.
He said, "That feeling was like a fortress wall, so I wrote a song called 'Castle,'" and explained, "What I hope for seems like a dream or a delusion. That's how the album title 'Castle in the Air' came about."
Hearing this, Cho Hyun-a said, "Interestingly, when I saw the word 'castle' I had a different thought. I thought I wanted to own it, but when he spoke with such rich sensitivity (it was surprising)," and added, "Maybe this is why I haven't been able to write songs lately."
Jo Kwon suggested, "This place is materialistic," and "Then try writing a song materialistically," and Cho Hyun-a admitted, "I am really worldly," singing an improvised song with lyrics like "I am materialistic," "Give me money," which added more laughter.
Meanwhile, Cho Hyun-a is known to have taken charge of writing and composing popular Urban Zakapa songs such as 'Beautiful Day,' 'Thursday Night,' and 'Painting Spring,' and is reported to receive substantial royalties.
