Singer Piano Man Kim Se-jeong is joining the ranks of the married. With a wedding ahead with the partner he has dated for two years
Piano Man Kim Se-jeong will hold a wedding ceremony on the 12th at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul with his non-celebrity girlfriend whom he has dated for two years. The ceremony will be held privately with only family members from both sides and acquaintances in attendance.
Ahead of the wedding, on the 10th he told OSEN "Marriage, to me, feels less like a choice and more like the result of time that flowed naturally" and expressed his feelings.
He went on to say, "Up until now I have expressed numerous emotions through my music, and now what hits me most is that there is someone to share those emotions with. Like quiet music that lasts a long time, I hope our time will flow the same way."
Piano Man met his bride-to-be through an introduction by an acquaintance and they nurtured their love for two years. Regarding his decision to marry, he said, "The reason I decided to get married wasn't a single special moment; as the time we spent together accumulated, it naturally turned into certainty."
He added, "We share the same hobbies. Doing exercise together or enjoying things like escape room cafes, I felt that a day can be satisfying even if it's not a special day. As those ordinary days accumulated one by one, it led to the feeling, 'I want to keep being together in the future.'"
He also said of marriage, "Rather than a big decision, it was a choice to continue the time we have already been spending together into the future." It was the fruition of the special affection and trust the bride-to-be and he have for each other.
Colleagues and fans continued to offer congratulations on Piano Man Kim Se-jeong's wedding news. In a handwritten letter, Kim Se-jeong also wrote, "I met someone I want to walk through life with and am getting married. I will try to be each other's support on good days and hard days. I will live with more responsibility as the head of a household, and as Piano Man I will repay with better music."
Piano Man, who debuted in 2016, was loved for emotional ballads such as 'Saying I love you' and 'On the streets of Hyehwa-dong.'
