The 'Friendship High Festival,' capturing SMTR25's fiery passion and friendship, finally unveils its curtain today.
In the finale of Mnet's Reply High School, airing on the 10th (directed by Shin Hyo-jung, Jang Eun-jung, Byeon Su-min), the trainees present the long-awaited festival scene where they put a period on a special journey. Along with the dazzling finale that concludes eight days of nonstop effort, the release of the OST that will cap the event and the opening of an offline pop-up store have been added, bringing fans' expectations to a peak.
In a teaser video released ahead of the broadcast, members watch as the audience fills seats one by one and burst into joyful cheers. The excitement before their first-ever stage prepared only for SMTR25 is brief, and soon a rising tension fills the waiting room. Moments before the festival begins, the trainees clutch their pounding hearts and finally take a trembling first step onto the longed-for "stage just for us."
As each class is set to present its distinctive performances, scenes where the friendships and efforts built up so far shine brilliantly on stage are expected to give viewers an unforgettable emotional experience. From heartfelt confessions such as "I'm happy that we can all laugh and enjoy the stage together" to bickering moments like "the pitch is different!" "Hyunjun is noisy in first place," and "Charlie is noisier," the trainees' pure and sincere sides—visible only at "Friendship High"—are also expected to bring smiles.
Above all, the most attention-grabbing moment is the announcement of the final winning class. With class 10 currently in first place and classes 90 and 00 closing in, interest centers on whether a dramatic turnaround will occur through the festival bonus points.
