Group AB6IX will take a break after their May concert.
On the 10th, the agency Brandnew Music Co. posted a long statement on its official website, saying, "We sincerely thank the fans who have loved and supported AB6IX for the past seven years."
The agency said, "The exclusive contract of AB6IX, who debuted on May 22, 2019, and has been with our company, will end on May 25," and added, "Accordingly, after thorough discussions with the members, AB6IX will take a brief hiatus following the 2026 AB6IX CONCERT '6IX TO SEVEN,' held on May 23 and 24."
It went on, "We are continuing in-depth discussions with the members regarding contract renewals, and the company will fully respect and support the choices of the members who are at a new starting point."
The agency added, "The company will do its best to support the successful completion of all activities scheduled through May and the 2026 AB6IX CONCERT '6IX TO SEVEN'," and closed by saying, "Once again, we deeply thank ABNEW for being with AB6IX for a long time, and we ask for your continued love and support for the future paths of Jeon Woong, Kim Dong Hyun, Park Woo Jin and Lee Dae Hwi."
Meanwhile, AB6IX debuted in May 2019 and released their first full-length album in five years last month.
