Actor Gang Dong-won attempted a shocking transformation in his new movie.
On the 10th, the 'Triangle' official account pre-released a teaser for the comeback single album of the three-member mixed group Triangle. In the teaser for the title track "Love is," silhouettes of Gang Dong-won, Park Ji-hyun, and Um Tae-goo stood out, and each individual's personal pose caught the eye.
This is all a setting inside the new film "Wild Thing," and the three actors played members of the mixed group Triangle in the film. It is a comedy about a three-member mixed dance group called Triangle that once swept the music scene but suddenly disbanded overnight after an unexpected incident, and their reckless challenge to seize a comeback opportunity that comes after 20 years. Gang Dong-won gave a passionate performance as leader and dancing machine Hwang Hyun-woo, Um Tae-goo as rapper Goo Sang-gu, and Park Ji-hyun as main vocalist and center Byun Do-mi.
In keeping with the concept of the work, promotion began as if the real group were making a comeback, and in the process the actors' unrecognizably transformed appearances have drawn attention.
In particular, Gang Dong-won, who began acting in 2003, carried out his most radical transformation in his 23 years since debut. He wore a headscarf, a crew cut reminiscent of 20th-century idols, and even cross earrings, prompting people to ask, "Is that really Gang Dong-won?" The three recalled representative mixed groups KOYOTE and Cool, raising expectations about what they will actually show in the film.
Meanwhile, the film "Wild Thing" opens on Jun. 3.
