Rapper Offset is causing a stir by requesting a paternity test for a child born to his wife Cardi B, who is in the midst of divorce proceedings, and NFL player Stefon Diggs.
According to a report by U.S. entertainment outlet TMZ on the 9th (local time), Offset filed paperwork on Feb. 25 asking the court for paternity verification (DNA test) in the ongoing divorce case with Cardi B. It is reported that he requested paternity confirmation for the children, including the child born to Cardi B and Diggs in November last year.
But the court did not fully grant the request. According to the report, the request for a paternity test for the child labeled a "newborn" was dismissed, and instead the court approved proceeding with a DNA test for only one of Cardi B's other children. However, the exact birthdates of the children listed in the paperwork were not disclosed.
Cardi B and Offset have a daughter, Culture (7), a son, Wave (4), and the youngest, Blossom (1). The two began dating in 2017 and held a secret wedding that same year, but since then they have repeatedly broken up and reconciled amid allegations of Offset's infidelity and other issues.
Cardi B filed for divorce again in July 2024, and the next day she drew attention by revealing her pregnancy. She later gave birth to the youngest, Blossom, in Sept. 2024. Cardi B then developed a romantic relationship with Diggs, and in Sept. 2025 the two announced they were expecting their first child together. That child was born in Nov. 2025, but the name has not been disclosed.
But recently the two were engulfed in breakup rumors after unfollowing each other on social media, and reconciliation rumors surfaced later when Diggs attended one of Cardi B's performances.
