"The Return of SUPERMAN" actor Shim Hyungtak vowed as he watched Haru's healthy, bright smile after turning one.
On the episode of KBS2TV variety show "The Return of SUPERMAN" (hereinafter "The Return of SUPERMAN") that aired on the 8th, comedian Lee Yong-sik took on twilight parenting by caring for his granddaughter Lee El alone, and Shim Hyungtak enjoyed an outdoor date with a more grown Haru.

Lee Yong-sik said, "I am Bbosik Lee Yong-sik, who wants to become super grandpa," and "I longed for a child so much. My daughter Sumin was born eight years after marriage," introducing his only daughter Lee Soo-min. However, Lee Yong-sik, who decided to become super grandpa, could do anything. Although he took on twilight parenting by caring for Lee El alone, Lee El dutifully followed her grandfather. Lee Soo-min said, "I am so grateful that my father's will to live changed after Lee El was born."
Meanwhile, Shim Hyungtak revealed Haru's growth. After learning to walk, Haru showed dexterity, such as tearing apart the egg bread his father made using small muscles to eat it himself. Also, because Haru has recently been imitating animal sounds and showing interest in animals, Shim Hyungtak took him to an indoor zoo. Unfortunately, because birds flew freely, Shim Hyungtak, who has a bird phobia, quickly froze.
Shim Hyungtak said, "I am really afraid of birds. Thanks to Haru, this is the first time I've tried to touch one," and trembled as he froze when he saw a toco toucan as big as his upper body. But seeing Haru's curiosity, he mustered the courage and placed the toco toucan on his hand.
Shim Hyungtak said, "Birds were so scary, but I endured it because I worried saying Dad is scared might be wrong," and "If the father does well, the son can observe and learn well," and "These are things I couldn't do, but I hope Haru grows up experiencing them," conveying a heart made wholly of paternal love.
