Actor Choi Jeong-yoon shared an anecdote about a Chanel bag that both her daughter and husband covet.
On the 7th, a short video titled "It's still mine, you people" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Two jobs-running Choi Jeong-yoon.' The video shows Choi Jeong-yoon visiting Namdaemun Market to welcome spring.
That day Choi Jeong-yoon said, "I'll just buy it for now," and "There is no destination. If it's a place with pretty things, I can go anywhere," announcing her unrestrained shopping. Afterwards, she enjoyed "impulse shopping," repeatedly purchasing items such as blankets, handkerchiefs and clothing.
Moving to a café, Choi Jeong-yoon revealed the clothes she had bought and expressed satisfaction. When the production crew said, "If Ji-woo grows a little more, they will fit," she replied with a laugh, "That's right. Ji-woo has a lot of things she has picked out from mine."
In particular, Choi Jeong-yoon drew attention by mentioning her daughter's unusual interest in luxury goods. She said, "Not long ago, looking at one of the few Chanel bags I have, she somehow knew it was Chanel and asked, 'Do you have a Chanel bag too?' " and added, "I said, 'I do. I haven't bought any recently; they're all old ones.'"
She continued, "It was something my mother bought for me when she was in college," and recounted, "I showed her a few and she said this one is hers," which drew laughter.
Her husband's reaction was added to the mix. Choi Jeong-yoon added, "But my husband said, 'No, when Mom stops wearing it, Dad will sell it used,' " conveying a cheerful family atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Choi Jeong-yoon married Yoon Tae-jun in 2011 and had a daughter, but they divorced in 2022. She later announced a new start after remarrying a non-celebrity five years younger than her.
