'The Return of SUPERMAN' actor Shim Hyungtak showed abundant love for his son Haru.
On the 8th episode of KBS2TV variety show 'The Return of SUPERMAN' (hereinafter 'The Return of SUPERMAN'), Shim Hyungtak and Haru began an indoor zoo date for Haru, who has recently become very interested in animals. Haru has grown noticeably and even imitated the sounds of the animals.
Shim Hyungtak at first laughed at the other animals, but was startled when a flock of Java sparrows flew all around him. He said he feels fear when he sees the structure/behavior of birds. Nevertheless, reaching out for Haru, he was surrounded by the Java sparrows.
When they moved on to feeding treats to the large toco toucan, Shim Hyungtak said, "I can't do it. I really can't do it. I really can't do it," and became truly frightened. Even so, he gathered courage for his son. Shim Hyungtak said, "If dad does well, the son will observe and learn well," and explained the reason he mustered courage, saying, "These are things I couldn't do, but I hope Haru grows up feeling them."
