Kim Ji-young and Yoon Soo-young recalled their first meeting.
On the 7th, SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereafter Same Bed, Different Dreams 2) featured creator Kim Ji-young and her husband Yoon Soo-young.
Kim Ji-young's husband recalled their first meeting, saying, "I ended up having a meal through book club leader Lee Ju-mi. I was hooked and came on to her." Kim Ji-young added, "I felt a strong attraction. I couldn't even look properly and she wouldn't let me go home. At first I thought I should keep my distance. I refused more than 10 times."
Kim Ji-young said, "I met her out of a sense of obligation. We set a time. After an hour and a half she said let's see each other briefly then. We met at a cafe and she seemed better than I thought. Fun. Eccentric and full of bubbly charm," she said. Kim Ji-young added, "The more I met her, the more she was the bright-eyed type. She's unusual."
Even while pregnant, Kim Ji-young attracted attention by cooking herself. The two boasted different eating habits. Kim Ji-young had toast for breakfast, while her husband had fruit and yogurt. Kim Ji-young's husband offered lengthy explanations for every action, and Kim Ji-young showed a resigned attitude, saying, "Now it just goes in one ear and out the other."
Kim Ji-young complained, "What's the point of eating healthy when he drinks like that?" Her husband countered, "Since meeting Ji-young I drink less than half. I hardly drink." Kim Ji-young added, "Didn't you say you used to drink seven days a week? It's reduced a lot."
Yoon Soo-young said, "I honestly didn't think about marriage. I thought even less about children. Strangely, after meeting Ji-young our relationship naturally deepened, we got married and naturally had a child. It's really a matter of living and seeing. I find it amazing," he said, saying his life changed after meeting Kim Ji-young.
Yoon Soo-young said, "Starting a business and getting married are similar. If you think a startup only has meaning if it succeeds, it's hard to do. You can jump in if you want to try even if it might fail. When I thought about marrying my wife it wasn't that scary. I wanted to walk the same path enough to accept everything," he said. Kim Ji-young added, "I really liked being with him."
