Police searched the entertainment company operated by Cha Ga-won, the CEO of One Hundred, who has been sued on fraud charges.
According to the police on the 8th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's financial crime investigation unit searched an entertainment company in Gangnam District, Seoul, run by CEO Cha on the 3rd and is reported to have secured related materials.
CEO Cha is accused of proposing joint ventures to companies in the related industry using affiliated entertainers but not proceeding with the business even after receiving advance payments.
The police received three complaints against CEO Cha, merged them and are conducting an investigation, and the alleged amount of fraud damage is reported to be around 30 billion won.
