The group VV (Eunha, SinB, Umji) announced its split from its agency Big Planet Made Entertainment.
On the 8th, Woohonggyun, attorney at law firm Shinwon, the legal representative for VV, released a statement saying, "VV notified the termination of the exclusive contract on the grounds of Big Planet Made's breach of its obligation to pay settlement funds under the exclusive contract, breach of its management support obligations and the resulting destruction of the trust relationship, and the contract was lawfully terminated as of March 4, thereby losing its effect."
He added, "The agency delayed the final settlement payment by about a month from the scheduled payment date around November 2025, and since then has not paid settlement funds to the artists. The artists repeatedly asked when the settlement funds would be paid, but the agency briefly replied only that 'they will be paid soon' and has not paid the settlement funds to this day."
VV's side explained, "Eventually, around January 2026 the agency unilaterally notified the artists that it was canceling the release of the new album (EP06) that was in preparation. Along with this, the domestic and overseas fan meetings scheduled for the first half of 2026 were also canceled."
They added, "The agency even failed to pay the expenses incurred at events, forcing managers to use personal cash out of necessity," and lamented, "The artists tried to endure delayed settlement payments, but the more they worked, the more they watched people around them suffer, and they could not help feeling devastated."
VV's side appealed, "Ultimately the artists concluded that the agency had completely lost the basic will and ability to support entertainment activities, refused to take responsibility for paying settlement funds, and that the trust necessary to maintain the exclusive contract had been completely broken. With heavy hearts, the artists notified the agency of contract termination."
VV's side also said, "Because the exclusive contract was lawfully terminated as of March 4, 2026, the artists had no contractual obligation to participate in subsequent scheduled overseas performances or other entertainment activities. Although conditions made the possibility of normal entertainment support or settlement for additional activities uncertain, the artists carried out all scheduled activities through the end of March."
VV's side concluded, "This decision stemmed from a sense of responsibility to the fans who have given unwavering trust and support, and now that the scheduled activities have all ended, we are announcing our position somewhat late. The artists would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the fans who have consistently supported them. The artists earnestly hope they can remain of one mind and continue together as one team. We ask for your continued support and encouragement."
Meanwhile, news that VV would leave the agency first emerged on the 19th of last month. At the time, Big Planet Made told OSEN, "There has been no final conclusion regarding the termination of exclusive contracts for VV, Lim Woo-jin, and B.O. Our company is doing its best for the artists' normal activities."

Hello. I am Woohonggyun, attorney at law firm Shinwon (representative attorney Kim Jin-wook), the legal representative of VV members Eunha, SinB and Umji (hereinafter "the artists"). I am delivering the artists' official position regarding the termination of the exclusive contract.
The artists notified the termination of the exclusive contract on the grounds of the agency Big Planet Made Entertainment Co., Ltd.'s (hereinafter "the agency") breach of its obligation to pay settlement funds under the exclusive contract, breach of its management support obligations and the resulting destruction of the trust relationship, and the exclusive contract was lawfully terminated as of March 4, 2026, thereby losing its effect.
