IVE group member Jang Wonyoung has been chosen as Dyson's Asia Pacific (APAC) hair device ambassador.
Dyson Korea on the 8th released photos of Jang Wonyoung and announced her selection as APAC ambassador for the hair device institutional sector.
Earlier, Jang Wonyoung was selected in April last year as Dyson Korea's official domestic ambassador for the hair device institutional sector. Participating in Dyson's major product campaigns, she has effectively delivered innovative styling experiences to domestic consumers and proven synergy with the brand.
In particular, Jang Wonyoung drew positive reactions by demonstrating expressive ability to freely handle a variety of concepts and showing healthy, glossy hair that highly aligns with Dyson's hair-health-centered technology philosophy.
Taking this APAC ambassador appointment as an opportunity, Jang Wonyoung plans to expand her global activities across the Asia Pacific. Through various campaigns with Dyson, she is expected to introduce the latest hair styling technologies and trends and broaden connections with global fans.
Jang Wonyoung said, "As an artist, hair style is an important element in completing various concepts," and added, "Dyson hair devices are essential items that help maintain hair health while creating a variety of styles. I am pleased to be able to share more styling inspiration beyond Korea across the Asia Pacific with Dyson," expressing her thoughts on being selected as APAC ambassador.
Kathleen Pierce, head of Dyson beauty institutional sector, also said, "We are very pleased to collaborate with artist Jang Wonyoung, who has influence throughout the Asia Pacific region," noting, "A Dyson Airwrap owner herself, Jang Wonyoung exemplifies the values of beauty, performance and self-expression that Dyson pursues, and we look forward to working with her to present new styling experiences while reducing hair damage."
Meanwhile, IVE, the group to which Jang Wonyoung belongs, held the second world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM' in Kuala Lumpur on the 4th and met local fans. They are scheduled to tour Asia, Europe and the Americas to meet global fans, including performances at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on the 18th and 19th.
