According to the organizing committee on the 7th, actors Lee Sung-kyoung and Lee Chae-min have joined the existing lineup for the "3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026" (ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS, hereinafter "ASEA 2026"), which will be held May 16 to 17 at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Launched in 2024, "ASEA" is a global awards show that each year selects artists who exert influence beyond Asia to the world, honors them and showcases high-quality performances. This year as well, artists who achieved meaningful results over the past year will appear in large numbers, preparing for spectacular stages.
The previously released lineup included ATEEZ, &TEAM, ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts, IDID, Kwon Eunbi (KWON EUNBI), NOWZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, VVUP, WONHO, xikers and others, raising expectations.
Monsta X's Hyungwon and IVE's Ray will serve as MCs on the first day of the awards show, confirming their roles as MCs for a second consecutive year, and the two, who had served as MCs on different days previously, will work together this time to showcase their stylish hosting skills.
Actor Lee Jun-ho, who will meet global viewers through the Netflix variety show "Kian's Bizarre B&B," and Go Youn-jung, who will once again show an acting transformation from "Can this love be interpreted?" to "Everyone is fighting their own worthlessness," will also participate in the awards show.
Actor Lee Sung-kyoung, who drew attention in every drama with stable acting skills and distinctive character building, is expected to serve as MC on the second day of "ASEA 2026" and show steady hosting. In addition, the most watched next-generation rising star Lee Chae-min will make his first appearance at "ASEA 2026."
With a lineup that already raises expectations, "ASEA 2026" will sequentially announce additional lineups, and the K-pop top star who will pair with Lee Sung-kyoung as MC will be revealed on the 27th.
