In the trailer for TV CHOSUN's 'X's private life' broadcast on the 7th, scenes of the former couple Yu Kkaet-ip and Choi Gogi were revealed.
The two married in 2016 and had a daughter, Sol-ip, but divorced in 2020. Afterwards the two, who had appeared together on TV CHOSUN's "We Got Divorced," reunited on a divorce variety show again about four years later.
After a long time apart, when the two met again they still displayed unresolved emotions. Single father Choi Gogi, who is currently raising his daughter alone, showed deep affection, saying, "My daughter is like my heart, my everything." Watching this, Yu Kkaet-ip appeared to well up with emotion.
However, the released trailer then showed an unexpected scene. A scene was revealed in which the daughter says, "I wish you wouldn't talk about mom," and Yu Kkaet-ip, upon hearing this, is depicted as being greatly shocked.
Tension increased as Choi Gogi's current dating situation was also revealed. Choi Gogi said, "I'm going to meet a very important person," and Yu Kkaet-ip, seeing this, reacted awkwardly, asking, "Am I allowed to see this?" In particular, a scene in which Choi Gogi checks his girlfriend of five years on a monitor was previewed, leading to speculation that it might be a 'formal meeting between families.'
Earlier, the production team of 'X's private life' also conveyed the significance of the two people's story. The 'X's private life' producer told OSEN, "The most dramatic episode was the Choi Gogi·Yu Kkaet-ip episode," and said, "I viewed divorce negatively, but I felt that if people don't fit together, it's possible to find a new life."
