Comedian Lee Bong-won opens up about his feelings when his wife Park Mi-sun was battling breast cancer.
At the end of the broadcast of SBS' Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny' that aired on the 7th, a preview for next week was released.
Lee Bong-won, who appeared as a guest, was shown leading a busy life running a jjambbong restaurant. Customers who visited the restaurant asked Lee Bong-won, "Is Mi-sun doing well?" and "Is she much better?" and Lee Bong-won continued to respond with a smile.
In a subsequent interview with the production team, when asked about his recent condition, Lee Bong-won choked up and said, "Suddenly the kids' mom got worse. I went to the hospital with her and we went through treatment together."
Earlier, Park Mi-sun completely halted activities in January last year for health reasons, and it was later revealed that she was battling breast cancer. Park Mi-sun appeared on You Quiz and said, "breast cancer that has no complete cure," while also admitting, "I'm just accepting it, and if it happens again I can get treatment, so I'm living with that mindset."
Meanwhile, SBS' Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny', which features Lee Bong-won, will air on the 14th at 10:40 p.m.
