Group SHINee member the late Jonghyun was celebrated on what would have been his 36th birthday.
Today (Apr. 8), fans continue to celebrate the late Jonghyun on his birthday. SM Entertainment also posted a birthday greeting for Jonghyun on the dot, remembering and honoring him.
At 12 a.m. that day, SHINee's official social media account posted one photo with the caption 04.08 #Jonghyun #SHINee.
The released photo captured the late Jonghyun performing on stage. Jonghyun wore a flashy checkered suit and was focused on the performance as he danced. It was exactly the image fans remember. SHINee released photos showing Jonghyun while he was alive to commemorate his birthday so fans could reminisce together and celebrate his birthday.
Fans around the world also did not forget and celebrated the late Jonghyun's birthday. Comments celebrating Jonghyun's birthday were left on the post in various languages. Although eight years have passed, fans still remember him.

The late Jonghyun was found in cardiac arrest at a residence in Seoul on Dec. 18, 2017. Police and rescue workers who responded to the report moved him to a nearby hospital, but he ultimately died. He was 27.
