Comedian Kim Ji-sun couldn't hold back tears as she received the clothes her son wore before enlisting.
On the 8th, Kim Ji-sun posted on her social account, "I thought I was doing well and staying brave after sending my son to the military, but today this 'tear box' was delivered to our house," along with a post and a video.
The released video showed a box containing the clothes her son had worn before entering the Republic of Korea Air Force basic military training unit. Kim Ji-sun said, "The clothes he treasured, the sneakers he wore until a few days ago — it isn't the scent of cologne but my son's smell that hits me... oh, even when I try to hold back, tears blur my vision and I got overwhelmed."
Kim Ji-sun couldn't hold back tears as she looked at the clothes and shoes her son had worn before enlisting. Saying they smelled like her son, she unfolded and sorted each item, and she cried again as she read a letter he left. Kim Ji-sun cheered, "Tonight I'll have to sleep hugging my son's clothes. Son, Mom believes in you. Come back healthy."
On Kim Ji-sun's post, Jung Ga-eun said, "Hoo... I love you, mom," and Yoo Sun sympathized, "Seeing you cry, sister, made me tear up too. And why is the music so sad?" Ga-hee cheered, "Take care and let's meet healthy!" and Park Seul-gi said, "This really is the modern-day 'I love you, mom'," as she cried along.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-sun married in 2003 and has three sons and one daughter. Notably, Kim Ji-sun drew attention by revealing she had breast surgery after the birth of her fourth child for physical self-esteem and daily comfort.
