Box-office star Park Jihoon returns with "Becoming the Cook Legend."
The TVING original Becoming the Cook Legend, written by Choi Ryong, directed by Cho Nam-hyung, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Studio Dragon and Studio N, and provided by TVING, which will premiere domestically and globally on Mon., May 11, at 8:50 p.m., is a military cookshow fantasy drama that depicts private first class Kang Seong-jae, who wears a kitchen knife instead of a rifle and an apron instead of an ammo belt, as he is reborn as the "legendary cook."
It is based on the popular Naver Webtoon of the same name, Becoming the Cook Legend (story/art by J.Robin/Lee Jin-su), and is drawing strong interest as Park Jihoon's next project after joining the ranks of box-office stars with the film The King's Warden. Meanwhile, a poster of cook private Kang Seong-jae featuring Park Jihoon out of his court robe and wearing chef's clothes was released for the first time, arousing intriguing curiosity.
The poster features the phrase "Kitchen knife instead of a rifle! Apron instead of an ammo belt!" alongside a dignified image of cook private Kang Seong-jae (played by Park Jihoon) positioned not on the parade ground but in the kitchen.
