Legendary baseball player and "rock-faced" Oh Seung-hwan will appear with his eldest son as a new family on The Return of SUPERMAN.
On the 8th, OSEN reported that Oh Seung-hwan recently filmed after joining KBS2's flagship parenting variety show The Return of SUPERMAN with his eldest son Seo-jun. This is the first time Oh Seung-hwan has appeared on a variety show alongside his son, and fans are looking forward to the "rock-faced" father's parenting skills and the father-son chemistry. The episode is scheduled to premiere on the 29th of this month.
Earlier, Oh Seung-hwan married a wife 10 years his junior in 2022 and embraced his son Seo-jun. He later personally announced his wife's second pregnancy, writing on a portal site blog last December, "There is a sibling of Seo-jun growing in my wife's womb. She is about 17 weeks pregnant now, and I think we can feel the baby moving a little in my wife's womb. You will congratulate us, right?" expressing his excited feelings. Oh Seung-hwan joined the Samsung Lions in 2005 and made history in Korean baseball by becoming the first and only domestic pitcher to reach 400 saves in the league and 500 saves combined across Korea, the United States and Japan while serving as a closer.
