Actor Jo Jae-hyun's daughter Cho Hae-jung is returning to the small screen, and a still capturing her fresh visuals has been released, drawing attention.
The Tving original Yumi's Cells season 3, which will be released on the 13th (directed by Lee Sang-yeop, written by Song Jae-jung·Kim Kyung-ran, provided by Tving), on the 8th unveiled character stills of Cho Hae-jung as well as Jun Suk-ho, Choi Daniel, Cho Hae-jung, Miram, and Park Se-in.
Yumi's Cells season 3 is a cell-stimulating empathy romance in which Yumi (Kim Go-eun), now a star writer, experiences a sudden upheaval in her bland daily life when an unexpected person, Sun-rok (Kim Jaewon), appears, making her laugh, cry and fall in love once again. From the 13th, two episodes will be exclusively pre-released every Monday at 6 p.m. on Tving, and one episode will air every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. on tvN.
In the drama, Cho Hae-jung will play Na-hee, Yumi's assistant writer, and is expected to bring energy to the series. Director Lee Sang-yeop said that all the actors, including Cho Hae-jung, played their roles in the right places.
Cho Hae-jung returns to drama after four years through Yumi's Cells season 3. Her previous work was the tvN drama Our Blues, which aired on Apr. 2022.
Cho Hae-jung is the daughter of actor Jo Jae-hyun; in 2018 her father issued an apology and halted activities amid the Me Too controversy. Then last April she drew attention by being officially invited to attend the Rendezvous section of the 8th Canneseries festival in France with the new drama Seonnyeo Dansigwon.
