Singer Hwasa revealed that she was a "golden child" in her childhood.
Hwasa appeared in the episode "Salon Drip. Revealing the secret to spring-ready radiant heels" released on the YouTube channel 'TEO' on the 7th.
On that day, Hwasa spoke candidly about her childhood with her family. Hwasa said, "As the youngest late-born child, I was really doted on, but I didn't listen at all, so I was almost a golden child, 'Our child has changed.' So my older sisters always told me, 'One day I'm going to report you to "Our child has changed."'"
She added, "If mom said 'don't,' I would definitely do it, and if she said 'no,' I would ask 'why no.' So I always argued and was extremely curious. In kindergarten, I refused to go because I wanted to play with my mom. If there was nothing tasty at the table, I would sulk," she recalled.
Hwasa said, "Because mom had to give me breakfast, she wrapped rice in seaweed and then mom ran off. So I chased after her, and she was sitting in the yard looking at the sky and crying like a child. As a child, seeing my mother cry was so shocking. It felt like a traffic accident," and she added, "When I asked my mom why she was crying, she said, 'I really can't raise you, go away,'" drawing attention.
Shocked by her mother's crying, Hwasa changed afterward. Hwasa said, "My mom also had a really hard time. Raising three daughters while the house was difficult because of IFM was very hard. I was so shocked then that I said, 'From now on I will use honorifics.' Since then I started using honorifics with all adults. I still use honorifics to this day," she said.
Hwasa also showed affection and loyalty to the staff she has worked with for more than 10 years that day. Regarding gifting a car and luxury bags to staff, Hwasa said, "Over a long time together, my situation also improved, and my older sisters spent the exact same time with me and went through the same schedules, but I earned more money. So it doesn't feel like a waste. It's not regrettable to give more; I want to do more for them."
