BTS's "SWIM" maintained top positions on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for a second consecutive week.
According to a chart preview article posted on the official website of U.S. music trade publication Billboard on the 7th, BTS's new song "SWIM" ranked No. 2 on the main song chart, the Hot 100 (issue dated April 11). The song, which topped the chart in the April 4 issue, remained in the top tier for a second week, proving both its popularity and newsworthiness.
Also, "SWIM" took No. 1 on the Global 200, Global (excluding U.S.) and Digital Song Sales charts. After debuting at No. 1 on each chart last week, it remained at the top for a second consecutive week. On the Global 200 (tracking period: March 27–April 2), the song recorded 106.3 million streams and 114,000 downloads. On Global (excluding U.S.), it achieved 91.7 million streams outside the United States and 46,000 downloads. With balanced performance in both streaming and downloads, it defended the top spot for two weeks.
The album Arirang (ARIRANG) track "Body to Body" continued to show strength, holding at No. 2 on both the Global 200 and Global (excluding U.S.) charts. Other tracks from the album—"Hooligan" (No. 5), "FYA" (No. 6), "NORMAL" (No. 7) and "2.0" (No. 8)—remained on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart. With strong responses to the tracks as well as "SWIM," the album's success is being supported. Arirang topped the main album chart, the Billboard 200, for a second consecutive week. This is a first for a Korean artist.
The strength of "SWIM" can be seen on charts around the world. On the YouTube Music weekly chart (tracking period: March 27–April 2), it remained at No. 1 for a second consecutive week with about 52.6 million weekly plays. On the German official music charts (Offizielle Deutsche Charts · issue dated April 3), it reached No. 3 on the singles chart, and it ranked No. 5 on the U.K. Official Charts' Official Singles Top 100, staying among the top positions. Beyond the United States, "SWIM" has shown steady momentum on major European charts, further cementing its presence as a global hit.
