The 616th episode of 'The Return of SUPERMAN,' airing Wednesday the 8th, is titled 'Haru grows another handspan' and features MC Kim Jongmin and Lalali, with new family member 'Pposhiki' Lee Yong-sik appearing with his granddaughter Won I-el.
Seventy-five-year-old Lee Yong-sik, who became a grandfather to his first granddaughter last year, breaks into a sweat with intense exercise from the morning. He said, "I used to hate exercising, but now I have a goal," and added, "I want to live a long, healthy life with I-el," conveying a sincere wish that brings tears to the eyes. In response, Lee Yong-sik's only daughter, Lee Su-min, said, "My father is about 10 years older than other fathers of his peers," and recalled that when she was 7 her father collapsed from a myocardial infarction and that memory is still vivid, confessing she was deeply shocked by her father's near-death experience and revealing how she became the family's health guardian responsible for his diet.
After his granddaughter was born, Lee Yong-sik says he lost 20kg through steady exercise and diet management. He called it "the proudest achievement of my 75 years," saying, "I weighed over 110kg before exercising, but now I weigh 90kg," which surprised people. Daughter Lee Su-min said she is proud, noting, "He seems to exercise harder dreaming of the day he can attend I-el's wedding."
