'Ani Geunde Jinjja!' Shin Dong-yeob said he misunderstood Kai in the past.On the June 6 broadcast of the SBS entertainment program "Ani Geunde Jinjja!" (nicknamed "Ageunjin"), Shin Dong-yeob appeared as a guest and chatted with the four MCs Tak Jae-Hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Suji and Kai, bringing laughter.
That day Shin Dong-yeob and Kai recalled that they had accidentally run into each other at a beach in Guam in the past, and Shin Dong-yeob opened by saying, "It was when my family and I traveled to Guam."
He remembered, "My wife can speak Japanese, and she heard two Japanese women talking about Kai and realized that Kai was at that beach."
Shin Dong-yeob jokingly said, "When I looked, Kai was really there. Kai was with a man, and they were applying oil to each other. So I pretended not to notice."
In response, Kai asked, "Do you really still think that way?" Shin Dong-yeob added, "I thought Kai loved all humanity. Kai was young then, so I thought he might be confused about his identity," and concluded by adding, "I respect him," which drew more laughter.
Kai recalled, "When I greeted him, he was very flustered. He said he thought I was a couple with someone in my group," and Shin Dong-yeob raised the stakes by saying, "I really tried to pretend I didn't see it," which made everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, when Tak Jae-Hoon and Shin Dong-yeob asked Kai whether he had traveled for several nights, they heard the answer "four nights" and replied, "Two men on a four-night trip?" which once again fueled the misunderstanding and caused uproarious laughter.
