Broadcaster Shin Dong-yeob expressed his thoughts on reuniting with his former partner Lee Sora, and Lee Sang-min also added a pleasant wit about reuniting with his ex-wife Lee Hae young.
On the 6th episode of the SBS entertainment program "A-nigeunde Jingga" Shin Dong-yeob mentioned a reunion with his ex-girlfriend Lee Sora. The two had dated publicly for about six years from 1997 to 2001 before breaking up. Regarding this, Shin Dong-yeob said, "Before I met my current wife, she was a part of my life. Like one page," and showed a mature attitude, saying, "You don't necessarily have to tear that page out; you can turn to the next one."
When Lee Sang-min continued with related questions, Shin Dong-yeob said, "You have the right to talk about that. You do it," and jokingly mentioned Lee Hae young, who divorced Lee Sang-min and is also in the same entertainment industry, drawing laughter.
Eventually Shin Dong-yeob mischievously said, "When 'Knowing Bros' was filming, Lee Hae young was nearby, and when she came to greet people in the waiting room, weren't you hiding?" and Lee Sang-min appeared flustered, saying, "Absolutely not." Then Tak Jae-Hoon joined in, continuing the revelation by saying, "That day Lee Hae young came looking for Lee Sang-min but he wasn't there," turning the scene into a sea of laughter. Shin Dong-yeob added, "I thought I shouldn't cowardly hide like Sang-min. That's not necessarily a wrong thing, is it?"
Then Lee Sang-min spoke about having divorced Lee Hae young in the past, saying, "That was our life then, and you can't throw away the memories." Reporter Lee Su cheered, "Then next week's guest, Lee Hae young," wishing for her appearance, and Lee Sang-min showed a somewhat reluctant, contrasting reaction. Tak Jae-Hoon mischievously pointed out, "Didn't you tear the page?" and Lee Sang-min confessed, "The period of hardship in the middle was too difficult."
Also that day Shin Dong-yeob joked, "I really didn't know Lee Sang-min would remarry," and added, "I thought it would be nice if I could host his second wedding," which brought more laughter.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-min married Lee Hae young in 2004 but they divorced the following year, and after maintaining a "single again" image, he recently registered his marriage to a non-celebrity 10 years his junior and completed his remarriage. Later Lee Hae young also garnered attention by coolly congratulating him on a YouTube broadcast, saying, "If that's the case, live well," and there is growing interest as people discuss whether the two might possibly reunite.
