The group ILLIT ignited comeback fever by previewing a more evolved visual and an expanded musical world.
ILLIT (Yoon-ah, Min-ju, Moka, Won-hee, Iroha) posted a promotion calendar for their fourth mini album "MAMIHLAPINATAPAI" on the team's official SNS channels on the 6th.
According to it, ILLIT will release 'GRWM' and 'FREE RIDER' version concept photos on the 7th and the 14th, respectively. Following the 'PAW PAW' (po po) version, which drew attention by featuring lookalike animals for each member, a new visual transformation is expected. On the 21st, a highlight medley that previews parts of the fourth mini album's tracks will raise the comeback atmosphere.
After that, content related to the title track "It's Me" will pour in. On the 23rd, a campaign film that reveals the title track's message and sound will begin, and on the 24th an "IT'S ME" version concept photo will be released. On the 27th and 28th, official music video teasers 1 and 2 for the title track will be posted in succession, and the long-awaited new release and the full music video will be unveiled at 6 p.m. on the 30th.
A special festival to celebrate the fourth mini album's release has also been prepared. ILLIT will hold the "ILLIT Seoul Children's Grand Park Festival," themed around the title track "It's Me," on May 5. In addition to various experience booths that families and groups of friends can enjoy together, ILLIT's new song stage will be performed to heat up the venue.
The calendar image's strange atmosphere also draws attention. A single rose carelessly placed in a plastic bag leaves a sensibility markedly different from ILLIT's previously shown cute and whimsical colors. This prompts curiosity about what different looks and music ILLIT will present with this new release.
Meanwhile, ILLIT's fourth mini album "MAMIHLAPINATAPAI" will be released on the 30th. The new album contains ILLIT's story of focusing on the inner self of "me" and enjoying even complex emotions amid the various feelings that arise as a relationship with someone deepens. The title track "It's Me" is a song that boldly shouts, "I am your favorite!" at the moment when, after a first date, worries about defining the relationship with the person you like deepen.
