Broadcaster Jeong Hyung Don's wife, Han Yura, shared an update after being stranded by severe weather in Hawaii.
On the 6th, the Hanjakga channel uploaded a video titled "A islander trapped at home by Hawaii's record-breaking heavy rain / spring break trip to Las Vegas."
That day Han Yura updated viewers on her whereabouts during the months without YouTube uploads. She said, "During the few months when YouTube uploads were sparse, I developed my own morning routine after dropping i-dle off at school," and revealed that she has been exercising consistently after taking the children to school.
She added, "It may be nothing special, but since the end of last year I wanted to have more time to focus on myself," explaining the reason she created this new routine.
In the video description she also explained, "Hawaii life, which had always been focused on i-dle, suddenly had very little time left, so I paused filming and editing for a while to focus solely on myself. Whenever a vague emptiness came, I tried to move my body a lot to pull myself together and spent time trying to focus more on my current life."
But a short time later Han Yura said, "Hawaii was hit by the heaviest rain in 15 years.. schools were also closed as an emergency. It was truly a few days trapped at home," revealing that she was confined to her house by the worsening weather.
When i-dle returned to school, Han Yura went out hiking. She said, "There were days when I went with my husband," and noted that she hiked with Jeong Hyung Don. She also expressed frustration watching the stormy weather, saying, "Where did the Hawaii weather I know go..?"
Meanwhile, Jeong Hyung Don married former broadcast writer Han Yura in 2009, and in 2012 they welcomed twin daughters. Currently Han Yura is living in Hawaii, USA, with the twins for their education.
