Actor Lee Bum-soo returned to broadcasting about two months after his divorce and reappeared before the public. With public support from his ex-wife Lee Yoon-jin added, attention is focused on his comeback.
Previously, Lee Bum-soo and Lee Yoon-jin finalized an uncontested divorce in February after about two years of conflict. Lee Bum-soo's side said, "Through sufficient consultation we resolved mutual misunderstandings, and as the parents of the children we agreed to respect and support each other," they said. Lee Yoon-jin also said, "I have ended 15 years of marriage, but going forward we will continue to carry our responsibilities as parents together."
In particular, Lee Yoon-jin added, "Please warmly cheer for Lee Bum-soo's future," and attracted attention by even releasing a handwritten letter, publicly expressing her support for Lee Bum-soo as the father of their children.

Lee Bum-soo appeared clumsy with mobile bank transfers while handling bank business, and to pay parking fees he changed a 50,000 won bill for small change, portraying a somewhat unfamiliar and awkward "alone daily life" that drew attention.
What drew the most attention was the feelings he revealed himself. Lee Bum-soo said, "I had personal family matters for two to three years," speaking with difficulty, and in particular confessed, "It was sad and painful and embarrassing, and I did not want to turn on the TV," which drew attention. He went on to say, "Becoming completely alone was really hard," conveying his feelings over that time. He calmly recounted the time he spent alone.
After a long hiatus and personal pain, Lee Bum-soo stood again in front of the camera. With his ex-wife's support behind him, interest is growing in what story his comeback will lead to.
