Earlier on Feb. 6, Y1 Entertainment said, "Lee Bum-soo has completed the legal procedures related to the divorce through an amicable agreement." It added, "The two resolved misunderstandings after sufficient consultation, and going forward they will respect and support each other as parents of their children."
The agency also asked that people refrain from spreading false information and criticizing, saying, "There were reports that differed from the facts," regarding the various speculative reports raised during the divorce process.
Lee Bum-soo remarried in 2010 to interpreter Lee Yoon-jin and had one son and one daughter, but after separation rumors surfaced at the end of 2023, he completed the legal procedures about two years later.
Meanwhile, Lee Bum-soo's return to broadcasting was also announced, drawing more attention. In the teaser for My Little Old Boy that aired on the 5th, his life living alone was shown.
In the video, Lee Bum-soo appeared somewhat awkward as he handled bank business alone. Scenes such as struggling with mobile transfers and changing a 50,000-won bill into smaller change to pay parking fees—so-called "analog caveman mode"—elicited laughs.
