The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) hinted at a full-group contract renewal with their agency, coloring the finale of a seven-month world tour with emotion.
SEVENTEEN held 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] ENCORE' at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on the 4th and 5th. It was the performance that closed the grand finale of the world tour that launched at the same venue last Sept. Including encore concerts, they performed 31 times across 14 cities worldwide, drawing more than 900,000 attendees (combined online and offline).
The highlight was the surprise announcement delivered on the final day of the concert. S.Coups said, "We will continue to row forward together in the same boat," revealing they are preparing for a second contract renewal with HYBE music group label PLEDIS Entertainment Co. The venue was instantly filled with fans' cheers. It was the moment when the promise "SEVENTEEN will do their best so that all 13 members can get as close to eternity as possible" materialized.
SEVENTEEN cited the CARAT fandom as the main reason for deciding to renew their contracts and said, "We want to tell everyone we love them. We will return soon as 13, so please wait a little longer." They added, "When flowers fall, even stronger life is born afterward. SEVENTEEN is the same. We will continue unit and solo activities diligently while always staying by CARATs' side." Jeonghan and Wonwoo, who are fulfilling their military service obligations, also cheered from the audience, showing strong solidarity.
The encore stage, combined with the welcome news, sent the energy to a peak that day. Although a sudden downpour fell near the end of the show, the members were unfazed. They improvised selections like "Applause," "God of Music," and "Headliner," sharing romance with fans. Earlier performances of "April shower," "_WORLD," "Maelstrom," and "Round and round" felt like a preview of SEVENTEEN's new blossoming and the new world they and CARATs will face, delivering a stirring emotional impact.
SEVENTEEN proved an endlessly expanding musical spectrum by adding hits such as "Sonogong" and stages like S.Coups x Mingyu's "5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)" and Dokyeom x Seungkwan's "Blue" to the encore concert. In addition to genre-crossing solo songs, intense performances like "THUNDER," "HOT," and "HIT," lively band performances and dazzling production combined to give the audience catharsis.
SEVENTEEN will continue active activities with various performances. First, the team's "Meboz" Dokyeom x Seungkwan will open the dazzling curtain of "DxS [Soya song] ON STAGE" at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 17th–19th. S.Coups x Mingyu, who began their tour earlier, will heat up Kaohsiung Arena with "CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY" on the 24th–26th. There will also be a group fan meeting. They will return to Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on June 20–21 to hold "2026 SVT 10TH FAN MEETING SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND."
