N.Flying has officially kicked off a reverse-run surge in popularity for "Flashback."
N.Flying ranked 71st on domestic music site Melon's TOP100 chart as of 9 a.m. on the 6th with "Flashback," a track from their 2021 full-length album Man on the Moon.
"Flashback," which had been outside the top 1,000 in February, entered the TOP100 in about two months and is receiving a hot response. It also rose to 30th on Bugs' real-time chart, 35th on Genie Music's TOP200 chart, and 38th on the YouTube Music weekly popular songs chart, achieving strong results on major domestic and international music sites.
"Flashback" is a rock ballad that expresses wistfulness in N.Flying's unique color amid soft string melodies. Lee Seung-hyub and Yoo Hwe-seung participated in the lyrics and composition. The lyrics, which express longing for what will not return, blend with the changing passage of time and seasons to leave a deep aftertaste.
Recently, a live video of "Flashback" spread by word of mouth after becoming a hot topic mainly on various social media, and N.Flying boosted its momentum by performing on KBS2's MUSIC BANK on the 3rd while releasing a special clip.
With this, N.Flying proved their status as a leading band by once again sparking a reverse-run craze with "Flashback," following the second single title track "Rooftop" from the 2019 release FLY HIGH PROJECT and the title track "Blue Moon" from the 2023 digital single Once in a BLUE MOON. Showing the enduring power of music that continues to be loved over time, they have further solidified their presence as a band with solid musicality and mass appeal.
Meanwhile, N.Flying recently wrapped up their first domestic fan meeting in eight years, 2026 N.Flying FAN MEETING '우.사.합 : 우리 사소한 얘기 좀 합시다', and will continue meeting local fans with fan meetings in Taipei on Apr. 11–12, Macau on May 9, and Tokyo on June 3.
