In 'Doctor Shin,' Jung I-chan and Joo Se bin create a warm atmosphere, hinting at a third brain change and a sudden shift in romance.
The recently airing TV CHOSUN weekend drama 'Doctor Shin' (written by P.B. (Im Seong-han), directed by Lee Seung-hoon) is a medical thriller about a genius doctor who challenges the realm of the divine and a woman whose brain is damaged overnight and who is losing her soul. In one night, the female lead loses consciousness and, with the shocking premise of two brain change surgeries in which her brain is exchanged with others twice, the show delivers a startling impact.
In the last episode, Shin Ju-shin transplanted Kim Jin-joo (played by Cheon Young-min)'s brain into the body of his fiancée Momo (played by Baek Seora) in the second brain change surgery. Moreover, he began to show unprecedented interest in Geum Ba-ra. In particular, as Shin Ju-shin's 'chaotic ending' unfolded in which he probed Geum Ba-ra's thoughts about the 'brain change surgery,' it foreshadowed even greater upheaval.
On the 5th, 'Doctor Shin' released new still cuts featuring Shin Ju-shin (played by Jung I-chan) and Geum Ba-ra (played by Joo Se bin). In episode 8 of 'Doctor Shin,' which airs today (the 5th), their rapidly changing romance line is expected to be revealed through their cheerful atmosphere.
The previously released still of Jung I-chan and Joo Se bin's 'surprising time-bomb dining scene' shows Shin Ju-shin and Geum Ba-ra sitting side by side at an omakase enjoying an evening meal. Shin Ju-shin turns his body toward Geum Ba-ra and gives her his full attention, and Geum Ba-ra shows a radiant smile and expresses respect for the director. Meanwhile, Jung I-chan and Joo Se bin drew out the peculiar tension cast over the warm 'same bed, different dreams dinner' atmosphere through their acting. Jung I-chan conveyed the change in Shin Ju-shin—who had been cold and taciturn—developing affection and interest in Geum Ba-ra with delicate eye expressions and facial nuances.
