That day singer Youngji appeared as Lee El-ya's vocal teacher. Youngji said, "Seeing an actor I like so much running around in the competition made me feel so pained. (Without an agency) she even does projects alone. I kept a feeling of pity and called her right after the competition ended. I told her I would serve as her chief of staff until she found a good company. I'm acting as a temporary guardian," she said.
Lee El-ya said of working alone, "I wondered whether it is right to get used to being cared for by someone. Doing everything by myself led me to take initiative in things. I've been working alone for seven months. I don't have a stylist. (Even today) I handled things personally," she said. Lee El-ya said she once stayed awake for 22 hours while juggling busy days as an actor, singer and student.
Lee El-ya set out to meet Youngji. Youngji said, "She said she wanted to release music in the first half of the year, so I invited her to the recording studio." Lee El-ya began to sing in earnest, and everyone admired her moist voice. Youngji recalled a point that surprised her, saying, "Her singing kept improving so I thought she had a separate singing teacher. She kept practicing alone at home."
Youngji also mentioned a moment when she felt sorry for Lee El-ya, who had suffered from nasopharyngitis. Referring to Lee El-ya, who had experienced vocal cord nodules in the past, Youngji said, "What if it's nodules again? She must have had trauma from the nodules. I saw how terrified she was when her voice didn't come. (But) she treated every practice space like a stage. I kept worrying about her," she said, expressing sympathy while praising Lee El-ya for her hard work. Lee El-ya also unveiled a new song she worked on herself.<
